A huge fan of vintage (which includes clothing and all items, yes!), my dear friend who also is a huge vintage fan and has made some (actually a few) super-special-vintage-purchase-from-etsy of late. So this discovery is hers, and wow is it a trailblazer !
I recently stumbled upon this wonderful Japanese furniture brand; TRUCK via a friend. Established in 1997, in Osaka, handmade furniture items with a very fine aesthetic which reminds me a little of the Dutch furniture pre 60′s. The styling of each shot is key to the beautiful soul you see in each piece.
From Iron nails to stools, side tables and sofa’s you choose your finish of wood and fabric to create a one-of-a-kind piece. But not only are there fine pieces of desks, beds, serving carts and lowboards, they have an entire catalog of clothing to stationery and back again. These clever people have also established the Bird Coffee in conjunction with truck.
