workshop
the paper workshop. call out to artists.
Hello Sandwich & Lox+Savvy hosted a zine making and paper workshop on Saturday at Kaleidoscope gallery in Paddington. With K.W Doggett generous enough to supply some colourful and vibrant paper, which let all the [very] creative attendees make super-cute zines.
Whilst Hello Sandwich supplied up-to-the-minute advice and creative talk on how to create a ‘Japanese-inspired’ zine {including some super-adorable books on the subject}, myself [Lox+Savvy] demonstrated how to create your own hand-made envelopes and paper goods {with the help of a little known book called ‘Papercraft’} and not to mention the lovely Giotta [from Miss Béba] making us yummy chocolate crackles, it was an inspiring day for all!
There are plans for Lox+Savvy & Hello Sandwich to host further paper-based workshops! Stay tuned!
